The P-whammy was a breeze to install. There are a few different models out there depending on what model guitar you have. There are 3 different models for Strats, a Floyd Rose model and a PRS model.
There is no simpler way to have made this product. The only 'pain' is I need to remove this every time my guitar goes in its case or gig bag, but hey I would have to remove a standard issued whammy too.
I checked out the standard model and it felt strong enough to me. There's a higher grade model, but man unless you are stomping on your guitar in steel toes, I don't see a use for it.
A cool design. A more durable and efficient way to whammy. You'll instantly notice better tuning stability. Billy rated this unit on 2011-05-22.
